We loved our experience in Bangkok with our guide Ying. She made everything easy to understand and enjoyable. She guided us through crowded areas with ease and always provided a detailed description of the sights. She also took pictures for us and sent them at the end of every day. We had an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend Ying! You won’t be disappointed! More

Tips for Visiting Bangkok in November
There's no winter as such in Bangkok. November is the start of the cool season (November to February). This season offers the most comfortable weather so November is the peak season in Bangkok.
A grand festival called Loi Krathong usually falls in November. Many tourists from all over the world visit Thailand for the celebration. If you decide to visit Bangkok in November, we suggest booking your hotel and flights in advance.
The peak season means there will be more crowds in many of the attractions. We suggest visiting some famous attractions, such as the Grand Palace, in the early morning and visit some less crowded places during the rush hour (usually 9–11am), such as Wat Pho.

Things to Do
If you plan your trip to Thailand in November, remember that both outdoor and indoor activities are appropriate.
The Loi Krathong Festival
In November, you can also feast your eyes during the Loi Krathong Festival.
Loi Krathong is a festival celebrated annually throughout the whole of Thailand. It takes place on the evening of the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar (this usually falls in November).
The name "Loi Krathong" can be translated into "to float a basket" and the floating object will be decorated with banana leaves, flowers, a candle, and incense sticks.
During the festival, people will go to the lake or the river to release their lotus-shaped rafts in order to show their respect to the Goddess of Water and to pray for the harmony and health of their family.
This is one of the most beautiful traditional festivals in Bangkok, so if you want to record this special night, don't forget to take your camera with you. Thousands of candles reflect their light in the water and people close their eyes while praying devoutly along the river — this picture will definitely move you.

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
It is one of the most popular floating markets in Thailand and it will give you an insight into the locals' lifestyles of the past. The market starts in the early morning, and the busiest and the best visiting time is at 8am.
Visiting a floating market has become one of the must-do activities in Bangkok. Renting a boat, shuttling along the narrow river, listening to the vendors' cries for their goods, and tasting authentic Thai cuisine all make a Bangkok trip more complete.
Note: The market opens every day from 6am to 12pm, so if you want to get away from the crowds of tourists then the best visiting time will be around 8am.
It takes you about 1½ hours to get there from Bangkok, so stay there for one night the day before you visit so that you enjoy the most authentic market without all the tourists and do not have to get up so early in the morning.
5-day Highlights of Yi Peng Festival in Chiang Mai :
Amphawa Floating Market
It is a very popular floating market in Bangkok. With opening times from 12pm to 8pm, you can not only experience the daytime market but also the night market.
In the market, boats sell every type of goods from fruit to household goods, as well as food ranging from soup to seafood. You can have a diverse range of traditional Thai-style meals there.
When night falls, rent a boat to enjoy the night view on the river, and you can completely relax and forget your tiredness.
Note: Open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12pm to 8pm.
Maeklong Railway Market
The market is actually an ordinary local market, but it is not the market itself that makes it interesting, but the location of the market. The market is built on both sides of the track.
When there is no train due to pass, a variety of fruits and vegetables are placed on both sides of the track, and the tents are also set up as usual.
But when the train passes through, you will see the vendors quickly put away their tents, waiting for the train to pass before putting them back up again. This interesting scene attracts many tourists.
It is only about 10 minutes away from the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and the Amphawa Floating Market, so if you plan to visit these two markets, you can also go there to have a look.
Note: The time of the passing train can also be changed frequently, so if you travel without a guide you might not have the exact time of the train and might miss this interesting scene.
