Crowding and Costs in March

March is the last month of the peak travel season in Cambodia. There are still lots of tourists visiting the major attractions, including Angkor Wat, which is much more crowded and busy than in the low season. Hotel prices are higher too. Try to book your hotels in advance as hotels' capacity fills up quickly in March.

Clothes to Wear in March

The temperature in March is warm to hot in all popular parts of Cambodia, although the temperature can drop a lot in the highland areas. So, shorts, skirts, light trousers, T-shirts, and other light clothes are good for this month. If staying in highland areas, it is recommended to pack some warmer clothing, such as a jacket and jeans to avoid getting cold at night. Light showers happen only about 1 in 10 days in March, so you can do without waterproof clothes or umbrellas.
