Day 2

Nov. 15th: Discover Chiang Mai's Charm — Sky Lanterns and Cultural Gems

• Start your day by venturing into vibrant Warorot Market, where the sights and smells will transport you into the daily life of local Thais.
• Embark on a scenic journey as we wind through mountains and lush forests for a 30-minute drive to Doi Suthep Mountain.Enter the revered Wat Phra That, a magnificent temple considered one of the most sacred in the region.
• Travel back to Chiang Mai, and catch a charming 20-minute rickshaw ride through the tranquil alleyways of the old town.
• As the afternoon unfolds (around 4 p.m.), your dedicated private guide and driver will whisk you away to the Chiang Mai CAD Sky Lantern Festival venue.

Day 3

Nov. 16th : Create and Release a Floating Lantern before a Riverside Dinner

• Loy Krathong (the Floating Lantern Festival) is one of Thailand's most-loved festivals. During the celebration, Thai people make their own krathongs (floating lanterns normally made from banana leaves and flowers). On the night of the November full moon, they make wishes as they release their krathongs to float down the river, believing the krathongs take away all their negative energy from the previous year.
• To give you the opportunity to experience the local culture and traditions of Loy Krathong, we have arranged a lantern-making-and-releasing activity.
• At 4 p.m., your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to a local workshop. You will learn how to design and make a Thai floating lantern with traditional materials, and make your own lantern or make a lantern together with your partner.
• After creating your lantern, drive to our selected restaurant by a scenic riverside. Take a break to try some delicious northern Thai dishes while enjoying the view of the sunset over the river.
• Once it is dark, release your floating lantern onto the river, and don't forget to make a wish!
• In the evening, your guide will lead you to see the festival parade near Tha Phae Gate. Enjoy the festival celebrations with the locals.

Day 4

Nov. 17th: Unveil the Enchantment of Chiang Rai

• Start your day with a convenient pickup from your Chiang Mai hotel.
• Appreciate the captivating architectural beauty and intricate details of renowned Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple.
• Next, delve into the unconventional world of the Baan Dam Museum, also known as the Black House, and explore its unique exhibits filled with contemporary art.
