Bangkok and Chiang Mai
In Bangkok, our guide Ann and driver "Mr. Ot" (I don't know how to spell his name) were very friendly and professional. You simply can't underestimate the value of having an English speaking guide to show you around, and a driver with a comfortable, sizeable, air-conditioned van take you from place to place. Ann taught us so much about Thailand's history, food, and religion. Mr. Ot always opened our door with a smile, and had cool towels and ice-cold bottled water for us.

Excellent guide in Siem Reap
Our recent time spent in Siem Reap was made even more memorable by our expert guide, Som Piseth. Som was knowledgeable, attentive, flexible and super helpful - we learnt so much about Siem Reap and Cambodia in our 3 days with him. His English was excellent and his knowledge of, and pride in, his country was outstanding. We would highly recommend Som for anyone wanting an excellent guide in Siem Reap!

5-Day Essential Bangkok Tour:
Things to do in June
The rain in Bangkok doesn't last too long; sometimes one to two hours, and other times a whole morning or afternoon. So when you plan your trip, you can arrange for some indoor activities and some outdoor tours. Then if sudden rain comes, it will not ruin your whole day.
Wat Pho
This is the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok. Wat Pho is located to the south of the Grand Palace but is less crowded. There, you can not only see one of the biggest sleeping Buddhas in the world but also many exquisite pagodas and halls. If you are interested in Thailand's Buddhist culture, Wat Pho is recommended.
Lumpini Park
This is the biggest park in Thailand. When the weather is good, you can take delight in the fresh air and lush greenery. The park was built in the 1920s and is located in the business center of Bangkok, so it is easy to reach. Enjoy a relaxing picnic with family or friends, rent a boat to row on the lake or take a stroll around the park. You'll feel like you are not just a traveler but one of the residents.
9-Day Thailand Family Tour:
Jim Thompson House Museum
This museum houses the art collection of an American businessman and architect Jim Thompson, who was the designer and first owner of the museum. It was built in 1959 and has now become one of top attractions in Thailand.
After World War II, when Jim Thompson moved to Bangkok, his neighbors' handmade silk caught his attention and aroused his business sense. He sent samples to fashion companies in Milan, London and Paris. This not only gradually established a solid global customer base for him, but also revitalized the silk industry in Thailand.
